Documents

You can add documents to a conversation and ask about them: a contract, a price list, a report. Copilot reads the document's text and shows under the answer which part of which document it used.

Adding a document​

  • Choose a file with the Belge ekle (Add document) button next to the question box, or
  • drag the file onto the conversation and drop it (Belgeyi buraya bırakın, Drop the document here), or
  • in a new conversation, click the Belge ekleyin, içinden sorun (Add a document, ask about it) box.

While the document is being read it says Okunuyor… (Reading…). When it is done, a notice says Artık bu belgeyle ilgili soru sorabilirsiniz. (You can now ask about this document.) and the question box reads Belgelerinize ya da verinize sorun… (Ask your documents or your data…).

  • The old Word and Excel formats (.doc, .xls) cannot be read: save the file as .docx or .xlsx and upload it again.
  • A scanned PDF (images only) has no text to read; Copilot tells you so.
  • For a very long document, the first part is read and the document is marked Kısaltıldı (Truncated).

Asking about a document​

Ask about the document directly: "Sözleşmede fesih süresi ne?" (What is the termination period in the contract?), "Fiyat listesinde A ürününün iskontosu kaç?" (What is the discount on product A in the price list?). Copilot searches the documents and reads a document from the start when it needs to. Source chips appear under the answer (for example "Sözleşme.pdf · s. 3", page 3).

One question can use both a document and your data: "Sözleşmedeki vadeyle bu müşterinin vadesi geçmiş alacağını karşılaştır." (Compare the payment term in the contract with this customer's overdue receivables.)

When you ask about something that is not in the document, Copilot says it is not there.

Seeing and removing documents​

Eklenen belgeler (Added documents) are listed above the question box. To remove one, click Kaldır (Remove) beside it; Copilot bu belgeyi artık okumaz. (Copilot no longer reads this document.)

Where your documents are kept

Copilot reads only the text of the documents, in this conversation. The file itself is not stored, so it cannot be downloaded from Copilot; the original stays with you. Deleting the conversation deletes its documents. Documents are seen only in the conversation they were added to, and only by you.
